A group for parents of adults with support needs.
Join people who support and care for over 18s. Share conversation, ideas and experiences in a supportive, relaxed atmosphere.
The group is for parent carers of adults who have support needs due to learning and physical disabilities, neurodiversity and mental ill health. We gather to discuss ideas and share information and to hear from service providers and support. We are based at The Den Coffee House which is led by the CIC Coffee Chat and Support, who offer a safe space for parents and their children with support needs to meet with ongoing support and access to service providers for those under SEND and beyond. We run at the same time as Game Changer in the library where adults with Learning Disabilities meet to game together, so carers can meet whilst the people they care for meet.
