Caring for loved ones with special needs is a noble and a challenging role.
The Mindful Life helps Carers to cope with stress and difficult emotions using mindfulness-based approaches, running taster sessions, introductory mindfulness programmes and ongoing weekly meditations.
We design our approach in response to the limitations facing so many Carers; personal time, access to respite care, finances, and so on. We offer all our approaches free of charge.
​We look together for strategies to address difficult and unnourishing feelings, to step away from being ‘invisible’, ‘overwhelmed’, ‘exhausted’, and to notice the types of triggers that cause us to react.
We look for ways to bring our own wellness to the centre and to make it our strength. We do this through practical everyday mindfulness techniques, resources to turn to when it feels like there’s no more time to give.
